HFL Sport Science in 2008 established the INFORMED-SPORT. HFL was acquired by LGC in 2010 and is now one of the world's prominent doping control laboratories. Though HFL had been screening supplements since 2002, only a few years down the line it became evident that in order to minimize the associated risks, it was essential that even the manufacturing facilities and the processes involved should be of the highest standards. This programmer was basically designed after a number of high-profile athletes consumed contaminated products and thereby failed anti-doping tests.
