ICC World Cup 2019 has started on 30th May with hosts England comfortably beating South Africa with a margin of more than 100 runs. The tournament will be stretching for 1.5 months with each team playing one match against each other before the knock out round begins. The finals will be played at the iconic stadium of Lords. Let’s discuss each teams schedule:
India
Team India will start its campaign against South Africa and will have four challenging games at the start of the tournament. They will take on the arch-rivals Pakistan on 16th of June and would want to maintain their unbeaten record. The battle of favorites will be on June 30th with India taking on England at Birmingham. India will play its last league match against Sri Lanka on 6th July and then proceed further for semi-finals if they finish in top four.
England
The tournament hosts are certainly favorites to win the cup and have started with an easy win, South Africa. In the middle phase of the tournament, England is expected to have relatively easy games and will end the tournament with a few tough games which will be good if they get qualified for the next round. They will take on their cricketing rivals Australia on June 25th and end with a game against New Zealand on 3rd July.
Australia
Australia made a positive start to their tournament with a dominant win against Afghanistan. The next few matches will be against good teams as they will take on West Indies, India and Pakistan. After laying against England, they will play against their Trans-Tasmanian rivals New Zealand and end their campaign against South Africa on July 6th.

New Zealand
New Zealand Had a thumping win against Sri Lanka as their bowlers blew away the opposition batsmen and then New Zealand batters chased the target with quite ease. New Zealand would want to build some momentum as they will play Bangladesh and Afghanistan and then have challenging games against India & South Africa. They will finally take on hosts on 3rd July in their last league match.
South Africa
South Africa haven’t started their tournament well as they have to face defeats in front of England and Bangladesh. They have next game against strong Indian side and then take on West Indies and Afghanistan. They will have to start winning matches otherwise they will be staring at an early exit. Their match against Australia on 6th July will be their last league match.
West Indies
West Indies ratted the Pakistan batsmen in their first match and then Universe Boss Gayle batted powerfully to get his team home. They have the next few games against strong sides and then take on Bangladesh on 17th June who has had a dominant recent record against them. They are the called the dark horses of the tournament and will complete their league round on 4th July against spin heavy Afghanistan.

Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has been very consistent at the ICC events with them making five finals in the last few years. In their first match, they had to face fierce New Zealand bowlers and lost the match by 10 wickets. They next have Asian challenge in front of them as they are scheduled to play against Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. They will finish their tournament against their 2011 finalists India on 6th July.
Afghanistan
They have had a meteoric rise in Cricketing World in the last few years and are now present at ICC World Cup 2019 to take on teams of high caliber. Even though they ended on losing side, they put up a real fight against Australia in their first match. They have a few testing matches and then lay their last match against West Indies on July 4.
Pakistan
Pakistan had not so convincing start to the tournament as their batsmen surrendered against short ball technique of West Indies bowlers. They play England next and do not have a good recent record against them. Their clash against arch-rivals India will be on 16th June and Bangladesh will the last team which will play against them in the league stage.
Bangladesh
They got to a dream start in ICC World Cup 2019 as they defeated South Africa and showcased that they are here to make a bold statement. They now have a pace challenge in the form of New Zealand and England. They will play their last two matches against their Asian counterparts Pakistan and India.
