During the 2019 final last year against Mumbai Indians, even with a bloodied knee, Watson continued to play and had almost taken his side across the finish line.

2) Dwayne Bravo- 1483 runs and 147 wickets

Dwayne Bravo has emerged out to be the most fruitful player during various crucial situations when represented CSK. One of the best bowlers in the tournament overall and an explosive middle order batsman with supreme hitting power, Bravo has been a vital part of the Yellow brigade since 2011. A master in death bowling and tricky situations, Bravo has so far taken 147 wickets in IPL along with scoring 1,483 runs in 134 matches.

3) Ravindra Jadeja- 1927 runs and 108 wickets

Ravindra Jadeja has been known to be a part of the winning streak ever since the inception of the IPL. He was a part of the Rajasthan Royal’s maiden IPL title, and later became a crucial part of CSK’s lower middle-order batsman, courtesy- his great hitting abilities and a canny left-arm spinning accuracy. He has so far taken 108 wickets, which also includes a rare 5-wicket haul, along with amassing 1,927 runs at a strike rate of over 122. Changing his game according to the match situation and always being a team player have been the biggest forte of Jadeja's IPL career.

4) Jacques Kallis 2427 runs, 65 wickets

One of the most renowned South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis could only play seven editions (2008-14) of the IPL before bidding goodbye to cricket but even then he managed to script records and was regarded as one of the most impactful players in the history of the tournament. While representing the Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore he scored a total of 2,427 runs at an average of 28.55. On the bowling front, Kallis took 65 wickets with his best performance of 3/13.Khallis was the backbone of KKR during their title triumph in IPL 2012, scoring a total of 407 runs and taking 15 wickets.

5) Kieron Pollard 2755 runs, 56 wickets

One of the vital Mumbai Indian’s all-rounders, Kieron Pollard, since beginning of his journey in IPL back in 2010, has been a core part of the Mumbai franchise and has never played for any other team in the tournament. Right from some remarkable knocks with the bat to winning matches with his bowling effort during the deaths, Pollard has been one of the most loyal soldiers of the Blues. In 148 matches played for the franchise, Pollard has scored 2,755 runs at a strike rate of over 146. And, as far as his bowling is concerned, with 56 wickets Pollard has been the go to man for Mumbai in crunch situations.
