In case of post workout: -

  • Studies have also revealed that consuming a fast-digesting protein like whey isolates after an intense training session can lead to a boost in the body’s muscle building.
  • It maximises the muscle strength and mass.
  • As we know workout is a catabolic phase, the hormone cortisol spikes during an intense workout and remains high in the post-workout window. This spike puts stress on the gastrointestinal tract, impacting its function, which makes digestion a bit difficult!
