This Diwali, in the spirit of celebrating the triumph of good over evil, let us remind ourselves that our lives are not improved by chance, but by active change. Fast&Up is driven towards fueling a change that makes a tangible difference to the world we live in.
Now, unless you’ve been living under a rock, we are all aware that one of the most sinister threats our generations, and our future generations face is the threat of an uninhabitable world. A world destroyed by our careless, selfless deeds. A chief contributor to the irreparable damage to the sustainability of our industrial society is the use of plastic. It is of utmost importance, to not only reduce the use of plastic but also, to switch to sustainable recyclable alternatives that will alter the way we use plastic. Although the use of plastic has enabled our lives to be easier, and more convenient but it now poses as a disastrous risk if we do not take punitive measures to reduce its usage.
How can you help?
Change how you dispose of plastic. Plastic must always be recycled. If disposed of responsibly, it can actually benefit the environment, in ways. If recycled, plastic can be made to form recycled polyester which in turn is made to produce a number of things like shoes, T-shirts, bags, etc. thereby causing fewer detriments on natural resources.
Therefore, Fast&Up, in association with Bisleri’s commendable Bottle for Change campaign, have decided to initiate our own bottle for change: if you return 10 used tubes or jars of Fast&Up you stand the chance to win a thrilling gift we are sure you will be pleased to possess. Does recycling actually help?
As we know the three magic words for environmental change on an individual level is reduce, reuse, recycle. Diminishes the measure of waste sent to landfills and incinerators. It conserves normal assets, for example, timber, water, and minerals. It increases monetary security by drawing from a residential wellspring of materials. It prevents contamination by decreasing the need to gather new crude materials. It saves energy , and supports Indian jobs and saves significant assets. It also helps make occupations in the recycling enterprises in India.
