    If your COVID-19 test was reported to be positive, then, it means that genetic material from SARS-CoV-2 was found in your collected specimen and you have confirmed coronavirus disease.

    Here's what you should do in that case:

    1. Isolate Yourself

    The first step to take is self isolation. Do not step leave your room and avoid all possible contact with family members. If possible, even use a separate bathroom. Only if you are required to seek medical care, you should step out of your room. If you need to be around other people or pets in the house, wear a medical N95 mask or double masks.

    Do not share plates, glasses, cups, utensils, towels, or bedding sheets and covers with other people at home. Sanitize & disinfect common, high touch surfaces.

    2. Stay In Touch With Your Doctor

    As soon as you test positive, tele-consult your healthcare provider and follow his instructions carefully. If your symptoms are extremely severe and you are facing shortness of breath, you need to seek immediate medical evaluation.

    From the medicines you would be required to take, dietary alterations and additions needed and the course of medicines needed to follow, your registered healthcare provider will guide you in the best possible way. If you have any comorbidities, or are seeking treatment for other pre-existing conditions, make sure to inform your doctor. Keep in mind, self-medication is not advised for covid-19.

    3. Monitor Your Symptoms

    You must take steam 2-3 times a day or as advised by your healthcare provider. Steam inhalation can help ease respiratory symptoms, and may also support thinning of the mucus in your sinuses, which allows them to clear out easily. It helps you breathe well.

    7. Eat Healthy

    Nutrition is the key to building your immunity and recovering faster. A well balanced diet will help optimize the function of the immune system and restore muscle energy and stamina to beat covid-19 associated weakness & fatigue. Immunity boosting vitamins, minerals, proteins, etc. must be included in your diet. A poor diet will cause nutrient deficiencies and delay your recovery. Do not skip meals and eat at regular intervals.     8. Stay Calm & Take Care
