If India wants to win the cup, then Kohli needs to fire. He has played 104 T20s and has made over 3500 runs with an unbelievable average of 51.
Another great news to the Indian fans is that Virat just made his highest score in the T20s. His knock of 122 against Afghanistan is one of the greatest batting performances in the T20 match.
Now in his thirties, he would want to win everything before he cast the curtains on his illustrious career. There is every chance this could be Virat’s tournament. Indian fans have every reason to be excited about it.
There are a few players who are trying to find their form coming into the tournament. It will be a test for Dravid to turn their situation around quickly. If India manages to put in a good show in the world cup a large chunk of credit will go to Dravid and his coaching. No doubt Indian fans want Dravid to work his magic on this Indian cricket team.
However, his trophy cabinet as an Indian captain has only the Asia Cup to show for it. Rohit would want to change that quickly. Rohit is a brilliant player in limited-overs cricket.
He wants to leave his mark as a captain on this team. Don’t forget he has support from Virat Kohli who is India's best player right now.
If he can guide India to glory at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup squad can book his place amongst great Indian captains such as Kapil Dev, Saurav Ganguli, and M.S.Dhoni. He has a team of top players. Indian fans should be very confident going into this tournament.
Pitches in Australia will also benefit Bumrah’s bowling style. In 58 matches he has picked up 69 wickets with an economy rate of just 6.46. He is Rohit’s go-to man both in IPL and International cricket. A well-rested Bumrah will now spearhead the Indian bowling attack.
Billions of Indian Team Fans will cheer for the country starting from October 16 when India goes against Pakistan in their first match of the T20 World Cup. All the #BleedBlue fans will pray for only one thing: the Rohit Sharma-led Indian Team lifts the World Cup trophy by winning the finals.
