What are Omega 3 Fatty Acids??

They enhance insulin-sensitive aspects of protein metabolism and increases muscle protein concentration as well as the protein/DNA ratio (i.e., muscle cell size)

Omega-3 fatty acids decrease the production of inflammatory eicosanoids, cytokines, and reactive oxygen species. They have immunomodulatory effects; and attenuate inflammatory diseases. They also exhibit additional anti-inflammatory properties, primarily through their effects on the neutrophil and macrophage components of the inflammatory response.

These plays a central role in cardiovascular adaptive mechanisms- lower the blood pressure in humans, possibly by reducing systemic vascular resistance and enhance the exercise performance

Omega 3 Fatty Acids are simple intervention to improve the muscle gains associated with strength or resistance training and this may occur via an insulin-sensitizing effect on protein metabolism.
