When it comes to test cricket you will agree that it requires longer endurance. In this format, performance is measured against a lot of parameters apart from runs scored. Indian cricketer and Fast&Up brand ambassador, Mayank Agarwal, caught everyone’s attention with his impressive maiden double ton as India extended their dominance over South Africa. Furthermore, his impressive form has been carried over to Domestic cricket as he just notched up a ton against India A in another smashing performance.

His commendable form in the past two seasons had proved his ability to score big runs when the pressure is on. After all, according to Mayank indispensable part of his performance is his focus on fitness and choice of nutrition. So let’s take an overview of his recent performances and how he has contributed immensely to the squad with the flair of his bat.

  • Successful Test Debut

Mayank’s hard work at the domestic and India A level, finally resulted in a call up to the Indian Test team during the 2018-19 Border-Gavaskar series in Australia. He opened the batting for India in the boxing day Test match and scored a gritty 76, which was the highest score by an Indian batsman on debut in Australia, and the second-highest score by an Indian opener on debut in an overseas Test. He followed that up with another fine knock of 42 in the second innings at Melbourne and an aggressive 77 in the Sydney Test match.
