    Seema Yadav, one of the record runners of India led a basic normal life which included academics, marriage, and motherhood. But it was the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon in 2015 that changed things and she took running into consideration. Seema, a mother of a 5-year-old is among the fastest amateur half marathon runners in the country.

    Her records included the ADHM 2017 where she stopped the clock at 1:35:02. TMM 2018 Full Marathon where she secured the second position with a clock time of 3:43 and the list is endless.

    With this season's TMM round the corner, she speaks about her TMM experience so far, the importance of nutrition, and advice to runners making their debut and much more:

    1. Your advice to runners running TMM 2020 the First time.
    My advice would take small steps. Jumping distances and hurrying to achieve milestones too fast can result in injuries. It's better to progress slowly and steadily.
    The most important aspect of running is to be consistent and disciplined.
    Another thing that I would advise is to avoid comparing yourself or competing with others. The competition should be with yourself. Each person's anatomy and physiology is different. So it's essential to listen to your body and do what suits you.
    And the most important thing is to enjoy your run.

    2. Your favourite TMM experience.
    All along the route cheering Mumbaikars sacrificing their Sunday morning sleep line up to encourage runners with oranges, bananas, chocolates in their hand, bands playing popular tunes, playing guitars. This is the true boost to the adrenaline, the real reason to run.

    3. Importance of nutrition in running.
