My Sport -Running

What I love about my Sport -

It's rejuvenating and liberating. All my years of fitness regime I find running most holistic.

What got me started -

A look at my friend’s finisher medal from ADHM was the first trigger. Which slowly became my own passion.

My fitness mantra -

Stay consistent and honest to your training.

Biggest sport challenge -

I believe nothing is big enough if you believe you can achieve it.

Favorite sport memory -

My race when I clocked my first Sub 2 in an HM way back in 2014. That race was a huge learning for me and a turn around point in way I understood running.

What i'd like to share with fellow fitness enthusiasts -

We owe fitness to ourselves, it's not time spent but time invested. Do this for yourself and you'll find everything else find itself sorted.

My favoriteFast&Up fuel -

Fast&Up gels which gives me the right boost in my races.

What my normal training day looks like -

I start my day at 430 in the morning. My usual workout is for 2 hours every day post which I start my rest of the professional schedules.

Favorite place to train -

I train at Sirifort Sports Complex and in Lutyens Delhi.

My everyday fitness diet -

As a generic rule I avoid external sugar intake and outside food. I prefer healthy clean and basic cooked food. I keep my carbs low and protein high.

My fitness inspiration -

MS Dhoni, Thomas Bobby Philip,

My biggest motivator -

My biggest motivator is my self belief, and the faith people I train put in to me.

What pushes me to the finish line -

My belief in my training and effort pushes me most.

One goal that i'd like to achieve -

1:30 for HM and 3:30 for FM

Importance of sports nutrition in my life -

Sports nutrition is critical part of training as without it one cannot optimize the results. It also helps in bridging the gap between your diet intake and body requirements.
