Boston qualifier for 2017 with a personal best (PB) of 3:48 (Full Marathon) and Half Marathon personal best (PB) of 1:51 for ADHM.

Parul loves running because she believes that running defines her. The struggle to run better makes her a better person.
Parul believes that life rules apply to running & running rules apply to life!

The need for 'me time' got her started running and now she is addicted to achieving new goals and new highs! (Pun intended).

Parul recollects the thrill she felt when she finished her first Full marathon with arms wide open in 2012! (A proud 4:35)

In Parul's words, 'Keep at it guys! We all begin at the same place - at the back of the pack. Hard work and determination will take us places.'

Fast&Up Activate is the fuel that powers her training and simply wakes her up!
9. What her normal training day looks like
Parul's day begins with a 5 AM alarm followed with Fast&Up Activate at 5.20 AM and she starts with her warm up at 5:45 AM. By 6 AM she begins with her daily run which can last anywhere between 60-90 minutes on a weekday.
10. Favorite place to train - Training Haven
Parul loves to run at Marine Drive for the awesome feeling to be outdoors. She loves to feel the breeze on her face and enjoy the emptiness in her mind. As Parul likes to say that she runs for this state of mind!
11. Everyday fitness diet
Parul's everyday diet is devoid of white food and gluten. She ensures to have no sugar, bread, maida, wheat and rice.
12. Her fitness inspiration
All amateur sports-people like Parul who are struggling to compete with themselves and to achieve their own target are her fitness inspirations!
13. Her biggest motivation
Her coach Sandeep Bhandarkar. As Parul says, 'If he believes that I can do it - I can.'
14. What pushes her to the finish line
The goodwill of her friends and family who have faith in Parul and who encourage her with their love and support. Parul says she gathers this and converts it into the strength she needs to finish the race strong!
15. One goal she'd like to achieve
Parul would like to learn to swim and do a half Ironman.

Parul believes that sports nutrition is critical for a great performance, for recovery and to maximize training.
