MY SPORT- Swimming

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY SPORT- the thrill of the races, the tough sets in practice when I have to push myself beyond my limits and that I feel peaceful in the pool, because I've been doing this for my entire life too.

WHAT GOT ME STARTED? (HOW THE JOURNEY BEGAN)- my brother used to swim, and my mom used to take me along to the pool, but she decided to let me swim so that I would fall asleep instead of running around and being mischievous, I started swimming at the age of 2 and a half

MY FITNESS MANTRA- no mantra, I Train, I race, I don't really have a fitness mantra

BIGGEST SPORT CHALLENGE- lack of world class facilities, financial aid, at least according to me

FAVOURITE SPORT MEMORY- making the finals of the youth Olympic Games 2018 and the finals of the Fina world junior swimming championships 2019

WHAT I’D LIKE TO SHARE WITH MY FITNESS ENTHUSIASTS- don't do it for anyone else, enjoy working out, and be honest with your effort

MY FAVOURITE FAST&UP FUEL- Reload

WHAT MY NORMAL TRAINING DAY LOOKS LIKE- I wake up at 5:45, get ready for practice and reach by 6:30, training from 6:30 to 8:30 or 9, back home for breakfast, and rest for about 15 minutes, gym for an hour and a half. Back home, lunch, sleep for about 2 to 3 hours, back to the pool by 6:30 in the evening, train till 8:30 or 9. Home, dinner, and sleep by 10:30 - 11

FAVOURITE PLACE TO TRAIN- any 50M pool is fine for me

MY EVERYDAY FITNESS DIET- no specific diet, I eat what my mom makes at home. And what I feel like or what I want to eat

MY FITNESS INSPIRATION- No fitness inspiration in particular, but I looked up to Michael Phelps

MY BIGGEST MOTIVATOR- Myself

WHAT PUSHES ME TO THE FINISH LINE? Wanting to win always, I hate the losing more than I enjoy the winning. Wanting to get faster each time I swim

ONE GOAL THAT I’D LIKE TO ACHIEVE- Olympic medal

IMPORTANCE OF SPORTS NUTRITION IN MY LIFE- sports nutrition plays a crucial role in an athlete’s performance, and it's been a boost for me too helping me in getting the best out of my training and my body, Fast&up has been my fuel for years and has helped me train better, stay fitter, get stronger, and race faster
