What I love about my Sport -

Football is more than a sport for me. It gives me hope. And can be one of those things that brings unity among people.

What got me started -

My cousin played and is still playing professional. And growing up seeing him play, i made my mind to pursue it. My parents supported me in this and that was a huge boost as I was born in an era of doctors and Engineers as a profession. Sports was always considered as a hobby that time.

My fitness mantra -

My father's favourite book old man and the sea by Ernest Hemingway had a line 'a man can be destroyed but never defeated'

Biggest sport challenge -

I was in India u16 for a very short period of 4 months as i suffered from a bone injury. That point of time I was a young boy and hadn't decided football as a carrier. I just loved to play. And was worried that I would never be able to get back on the field. After a gap of 2 years from football i forgot about football took admission in a design college. After a year I felt that I was incomplete without football and started to work back on it and got into state 7 a side team (Maharashtra) then in I league division 2 and so on my journey continued again.

Favorite sport memory -

When i went to Spain in Barcelona with team visited the Camp Nou stadium. It was that moment which gave me a boost that someday I would love to play at a stadium like this.

What i'd like to share with fellow fitness enthusiasts -

That we should never stop working on our passion. Passion is something that no matter how many times you are stopped or how far you go, you never stop thinking about it. So make sure you make the most out of it and be satisfied.
